One of the biggest challenges my clients face before they come to me is shopping … where, how, and what.

You either love shopping, or you hate it!

It can be an overwhelming, confusing, and time-consuming process.  If you’ve ever felt that, keep reading.

Early late August/ early September is the perfect time to catch the end of summer sales and ridiculous deals for your warm-weather wardrobe.  This is the time to invest in quality staple pieces that you can wear next summer season or renew some of your favorites that need to be updated.

Before you start “adding to cart” I have a few tips that will help you save time and reduce the stress, of online shopping.  Throughout the month of August, I shared a brief video on LinkedIn with my best tips and tricks for online shopping.

ONLINE SHOPPING TIP … Buy 2!

One of the most difficult things to get right when it comes to online shopping is sizing. Just because you are a certain size with one brand does not mean you’ll be the same with another.  European brands typically fit smaller than American brands. So when you come across an item you love, yet unsure about sizing (even after referring to the size chart), simply purchase them both. It will save you time with returns. This mainly works best when shopping on sites that offer free shipping and returns.  Also note, credited returns will be quicker when using a credit card, versus a debit card.

I hope this helps if you’re looking to do a little end-of-season shopping this month on your own!
